March is Supply Management Month.  Please join me in celebrating and promoting supply management to the senior management of your organization.

Our February meeting on Global Sourcing was interesting and informative.  I would like to thank chapter members Margo Beytagh and Steve Bitner for their participation and input in the panel discussion.  A special “Thank You is extended to Mark Phillips with Icons, Inc for taking the time to travel to our meeting and share his knowledge of Global Sourcing.

Upcoming ISM Sponsored Web Seminar:

Our next meeting, Tuesday, March 9, 2010, will be a plant tour at FedEx Ground Asheville, 99 Broadpointe Drive, Mills River, NC. Our host, Donnie Solt, Senior Manager, and Tom Smith, Corporate Account Executive, will start the meeting at 6:00 pm. A pizza meal will be served. Space is limited to 25 people, so please register early. I would like to see good member participation to show support to FedEx for their sponsorship of the February Charlotte Conference and possible sponsor of our May Summer Conference.
